This is the license for the Buni software, style presets, and virtual coins. It is not a sale of the app, and it is not a transfer of our models.

Subject to this agreement and the Terms of Service, Buni grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Buni iPhone application on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.
The license covers ordinary use of the features in the app you install: browsing and posting craft content, messages, video calls, challenges, preferences, AI Studio generations you pay for with Buni Coins, and account settings. It does not cover the source code, model weights, or the right to run Buni as a service for others.
The licensed materials are the Buni application, its interface, updates we provide, style presets available in AI Studio, and the craft reference materials we supply inside the app. Buni Coins are a limited license to redeem in-app actions, not personal property and not money. Your photos, captions, messages, and other material you create are not part of this grant; they stay yours under section 4.
AI outputs are produced by models we develop, train, and deploy ourselves. We do not license you the model. We license you the specific result returned to your account, for personal craft use, as described in section 5. We do not use a third-party AI model service to create that result, and we process only the image, format, and style needed to create it.
You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:
Community rules, prohibited content, and enforcement are in the Terms of Service. Privacy limits on photos and messages are in the Privacy Policy. Those documents apply together with this license.

Apple is not a party to this ownership. Your download is from the App Store under section 7.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Buni a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate the feature you used: showing a public post, delivering a message or photo you sent, storing an AI Studio piece on your account, or reviewing a report. We do not sell your content, do not share it with unrelated third parties, and do not use private messages, call media, or Studio photos to train models. The license ends when the content is deleted from active use, aside from short-lived backups and records the Terms of Service allow us to keep.
You represent that you have the rights needed for this license, including rights in a bag photo or pattern you upload.
For each successful generation, we license you the returned image and craft notes for your personal making and for sharing inside Buni if you label the image as generated. You may not register the model output as our pattern, and you may not treat the result as an assignment of someone else’s stitch chart or photograph that appeared in your input.
The result is provided as a reference. Gauge, dimensions, and stitch counts can be wrong. The license is not a warranty that a physical bag will match the picture. Generations spend the Buni Coins shown before you confirm. Coin purchase rules are in section 6 and in the Terms of Service.
Buying a pack from the Coin Store buys a license to a stated number of consumable credits on your account, charged by Apple to your Apple ID at the price shown. There is no auto-renewing subscription in this license. Coins do not expire while the account is open, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money. They may be used only for in-app actions we price, such as an AI Studio generation or a yarn-spec extraction. Deleting the account ends unused credits. Refunds, if any, follow Apple’s rules and applicable law, as stated in the Terms of Service.
This license is between you and Buni only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Buni Coins are separate consumable purchases.
Buni, not Apple, is responsible for product claims, intellectual-property claims, and legal compliance relating to the app. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with third-party terms, including your wireless-data agreement, when you use the app.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it. If this agreement conflicts with the App Store terms on a point Apple requires, the App Store terms control on that point.
We may issue updates that replace parts of the app. An update may be required for continued use and is licensed on the same terms. We may retire a style preset or a screen. The license does not promise that a particular pattern, challenge, or generation will remain available.
The app and AI outputs are licensed “as is,” with all faults. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buni disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of stitch or yarn guidance, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation. If a mandatory consumer warranty applies where you live, it applies only to the extent required, and our responsibility is limited to what that law requires, which may include repair, replacement, or a refund of the affected purchase through Apple. Apple’s role, if any, is described in section 7.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buni is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost coins caused by account deletion you requested, or craft materials you chose to buy based on a render. Our aggregate liability under this license will not exceed the amount you paid for Buni Coins in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you paid nothing. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law forbids a limit. Your rights against Apple, if any, are only those in the App Store terms.
You may not assign this license. We may assign it in connection with a reorganization of Buni. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. This agreement, together with the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, is the entire license for the software and coins and supersedes prior statements about those subjects. It is governed by applicable law, and mandatory consumer rights where you live remain in force.
